Once the plane has reach the desired altitude, you and your qualified instructor will dive from the plane, beginning the most insane minute you'll ever experience! Free falling for 60 seconds, and reaching speeds of up to 200km per hour, this is one adventure that is certain to make you feel alive. After your parachute has been pulled, you'll slow to a more comfortable speed, leisurely making your way back to ground for the next 5 to 7 minutes. Whilst floating you'll be able to take in the incredible beauty that is visible below, and even have the chance to steer your own parachute. The skydive centre is located at 39 Porter Promenade, Mission Beach with transfers available from Cairns and Mission Beach accommodation if organised in advance. Your tandem skydive begins with a safety briefing and gear fitting by experienced instructors, ensuring a secure and thrilling jump. Feel the rush of freefalling at speeds of up to 220 km/h for around 25 seconds before your parachute opens, allowing you to glide serenely while soaking in panoramic vistas of the Coral Sea and surrounding islands.

94kg - 104.9kg: $50 to pay on arrival (94kg and above requires an on site assessment to determine safety issues due to harness size restrictions)
105kg to 114.9kg: $75 to pay on arrival
115kg and above: $100 to pay on arrival
