Morning:
8:00 - 8:30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Ha Noi City.
8:45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, West Lake – Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century.
9:30: Ho Chi Minh Complex: Visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (if open), stilt house, gardens, and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.
Note: - Dress modestly (cover shoulders to knees) when visiting the mausoleum, temples & pagodas.
- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
- The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is usually closed for annual maintenance. (you can still take photos and visit the area).
11:15: Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and discover the rich traditions of all 54 ethnic groups across the country.
Note: On Mondays, visit the Women’s Museum instead of the Ethnology Museum.
Lunch:
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with many traditional local foods.
Afternoon:
14:00 - 14:15: Continue to the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university, built in the 11th century.
15:00: Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum – former colonial prison and “Hanoi Hilton” for U.S. POWs during the war.
16:15 - 16:30: End of the tour. See you again on the next journey!
