Auckland 16,000ft skydiving experience
Experience up to 60 seconds of freefall at 200km per hour, taking in views of the east and east coasts of NZ, Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island and Mt Ruapehu.
Enjoy a 20-minute scenic flight to 16,000ft, taking in views of the east and east coasts of NZ, Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island and Mt Ruapehu. Your freefall will last up to 60 seconds before your instructor will open the parachute and glide you safely back down to earth.
On arrival the team will take you through a briefing explaining your skydive experience including jumping from high altitude, answering any questions you have and making sure you are ready for the experience of a lifetime. You will be paired up with an instructor, geared up in equipment and off you go!
You can also capture your experience with one of the personalized camera packages (not included). Make sure you write a message on your hands! Your package will include footage of you and your instructor on the ground, enjoying the scenic ride in the aircraft, your exit including your reaction as you leave the plane, 60 seconds of freefall (including any messages on your hands!), your 3-4 minute parachute ride and your landing.

- Footwear rules: High heels, sandals, and flip-flops are not allowed — wear secure shoes like sneakers.
- Weight limit: Participants over 100kg (220lbs) may not be eligible to skydive; all guests are weighed on arrival.
- No age limit, but under 18s need guardian consent; minimum weight for small children is 30kg to fit the harness properly.
- Weather-dependent: If conditions aren’t safe, your skydive will be rescheduled.
- Extras: Photos and videos are available for purchase; free pickup can be arranged by contacting the provider in advance.
- There is no age restriction for tandem skydiving in New Zealand. Participants that are under 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian to sign the consent form on their behalf. When taking small children the only limitation is their size and making sure the harness fits correctly
- If the weather conditions are not suitable for skydiving, or your skydive needs to be postponed for other safety reasons, your skydive will be rescheduled
- Participants who weigh over 100kg/220lbs/15.5 stone may not be able to skydive. Everyone is weighed on arrival and a decision is made dependent on the conditions on the day
